Pediatric Speech Therapy

Woven Care speech therapy uses a variety of functional daily activities and play-based techniques to improve a child’s ability to communicate with those around them.

Enriching your child’s world with words, and helping your child express themselves.

All children communicate in some form, even if nonverbal. It’s our job to help them communicate their wants and needs in a way that is understood by others. This ranges from developing oral motor control to making sounds to using words to create meaningful relationships.

What is Speech Therapy?

  • Speech therapy uses a variety of functional daily activities and play-based techniques to improve a child’s ability to effectively express themselves, understand others, produce sounds clearly, use language socially, problem-solve, chew, and swallow.
  • Primary areas of focus include: speech production, functional communication training, receptive and expressive language skills, and social interactions and interpersonal relationships.
  • Our Speech Language Pathologists work in collaboration with other experts to improve all forms of communication and language.
