ABA is the gold-standard of treatment that has been clinically proven to be effective in helping children with autism. You and your child deserve an intervention that works.
Our fundamental goal is to increase independence and produce meaningful outcomes for the children we serve.
Woven Care enriches your child’s world with words, and help your child express themselves. All children communicate in some form, and it’s our job to help them communicate their wants and needs in a way that is understood by others. This ranges from developing oral motor control to making sounds to using words to create meaningful relationships.
The goals of speech therapy vary based on every child's unique developmental needs, and our goal is to prepare every child for success now and in the future.
Occupational Therapy (OT) helps children strengthen the skills that are needed for everyday life. The goals are individualized to meet each child’s unique needs and can encompass a variety of domains. We serve children who have difficulties effectively receiving, processing, and responding to sensory information.
Pediatric occupational therapy uses play to help children develop a wide variety of skills to improve their independence and participation with activities in the home, school, and community. Occupational therapists will provide engaging interventions to help children meet developmental milestones and improve function with self-care, fine motor skills, executive function, peer interactions, and self-regulation.
Each child who participates in Occupational Therapy at Woven Care will have individualized goals created collaboratively with the OT, the child, and the family!
Physical Therapy (PT) helps infants, children and adolescents improve their overall function and gross motor skills. It also helps children and adolescents with orthopedic injuries reduce pain. The goals are individualized to meet each child’s unique needs and can encompass a variety of domains. We serve children who have difficulties with balance, coordination, strength, endurance, motor planning, and more!
Physical Therapy can also assist in reducing pain from an orthopedic injury. Some common conditions we treat are: developmental delay, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, genetic diagnoses, neurological diagnoses, orthopedic injuries, pain, torticollis, Down Syndrome, and more!
The goals vary based on each child’s unique needs, but some goals and benefits of physical therapy can include:
We're reshaping the way healthcare is delivered, ensuring every child gets the care they deserve, anytime and anywhere.
You and your child can enjoy mealtimes again with the benefit of Feeding Therapy.
The Woven Care vision program focuses on understanding and addressing the unique visual needs and challenges children might face. Addressing visual issues can have a profound impact on a child's ability to learn, interact, and navigate the world around them.
Animal-assisted therapy (AAT) is utilized by medical practitioners across the country to help patients of all ages and backgrounds reach their full potential.

I had some great Telehealth sessions today! One mom was so excited because we finally saw the behaviors she had been telling us about come out at home. We're now able to help her and her son so much better!
The help we received from you all was amazing. We learned so much and were given real-life tools at the child's level that made an immediate and long-lasting impact. Thank you!
I have been bringing my son for OT for several months now and have met so many people at the helen hunt Location. every single staff member I have met and even the ones I haven't are truly amazing, kind, caring, and loving people. Mr. Angelo is a very kind person and is always smiling and ready to help. this place really treats clients and family with sincere feeling of kindness and compassion. I strongly recommend this place.
We switched from a private clinic when The Shandy Clinic opened and we are so happy we did. We were very hesitant because we loved our previous OT and social skills therapist but really couldn’t afford the cost anymore. The fact that The Shandy Clinic takes most insurance is absolutely amazing but above that, the therapists, front desk staff, billing department, everyone - are seriously the best. So friendly, flexible and there’s no wait to get an appointment. I’m not sure how to make this a five star recommendation but that’s what it is!
From the time I was first told my son could be autistic and actually getting a diagnosis, was a nightmare. Being given the run around by two other specialists, Shandy made things so easy! Everything is streamlined for the testing process and they leave nothing unsaid. I always know what to expect and when to expect it. Further, there's no guesswork with my kid's therapy appointments. After a long fight, Shandy has given me a sense of relief because now I know what to do for my son. Very big thank you!
Both of my children have been receiving services from Shandy in Aurora for about 2 years. My son just graduated from ABA to go to school. My daughter will be starting ABA soon and has been getting speech and OT services. Shandy has been amazing and has taught us so much. We would have been lost without them, and I’m so excited for my daughter to start ABA soon. We are a military family, so they have been our main support out here. I am forever thankful for this clinic.
